The Path to Orthodoxy 

Our Unfading Light program is a ministry of Saint George Tropeoforos Greek Orthodox Church, created to guide inquirers on the journey toward becoming mature, well‑formed Orthodox Christians—true disciples of Jesus Christ.

Life is shaped by preparation; what we sow, we truly reap. In the Early Church, preparation for baptism and full entry into the life of Christ unfolded over a rigorous three‑year period, comparable in depth to a modern seminary education. We strive to mirror this ancient and time‑tested approach as much as possible, forming the person and mind through proper, intentional preparation.

To accept and receive the Holy Trinity is the most transformative event of a person’s life. It brings profound grace, but also deeper commitment and accountability before God. As this journey unfolds, everything begins to change—the way we look at God, the self, others, family, friends, life, problems, work, the future, and even death.
